Terms of Use

MedGemak is part of the patient portal MijnGezondheid.net (MGn). Before you can start using the app, you need to have an account on MGn. Without this account, you cannot register or sign up for MedGemak. To create an account on MGn - and subsequently register for MedGemak - your general practitioner and/or pharmacy must offer these modules. Therefore, please inquire with your healthcare provider to confirm.

What is MedGemak?

MedGemak helps you manage your healthcare matters with your general practitioner and/or pharmacist in a reliable and secure manner. With your smartphone, you can access your medication overview and order (repeat) prescriptions from your healthcare provider. You can also easily schedule an appointment with your general practitioner or send a message with an attachment to your healthcare provider.

Here's a breakdown: What can you do with MedGemak?

• Order medication online
• Make appointments online
• Send messages with attachments
• Receive push notifications
• Set up a helpful medication reminder
• Access personalized drug information (package inserts)
• Track the status of your medication order
• Use the "Should I see a doctor?" functionality to answer questions that will provide advice on whether or not you should see a doctor.

Note: The available features in MedGemak depend on what your healthcare provider makes available to you.

Your privacy is a priority

You link MedGemak once to your MGn account using your DigiD. After that, you log in each time with a 5-digit code.

Not for emergencies!

Never use MedGemak for urgent or emergency cases. For these situations, you should call the familiar (emergency) numbers of your healthcare provider (general practitioner or pharmacy) or emergency services. MedGemak is an addition to the communication options you have with your healthcare provider, but it does not replace them.
